Bureaucracy - Bane of India ???

Amarnath Land Row in J&K
MNS and locallites problem in Maharashtra
Naxalites
Bomb Explosions all over the country
Communalism

Few of the many problems India has been facing of late. Everytime a controversy appears, it resurfaces the pseudo-secular ethos of India. The falling Indian government is shown in the bad light by the opposition parties. But is Government really the biggest threat to the country ? Most would agree but it's not so. Agreed to a certain extent that bureaucracy fails every single time any incident uncalled for happens. Communalism spreads and people are killed in the name of religion like never before. Original problem is pushed into the background and all the activities surrounding the incident come to the fore.
It's been long seen in the country that those who commit crimes and kill people in the name of religion more often than not goes unpunished or reprimanded with a small fine in some cases while the victim's life is destroyed forever. The impending cases all over the country just goes on to show that India's judicial system has completely lost its bearing and herein lies the country's biggest problem.
The very law that was made to govern us five nought years ago has become India's bigeest problem. A monster that everyone acknowledges exists but noone does anything about it. The Constituion of India is now just a mere boof with all those so called laws for the betterment of the country.
The crimes have gone beyond the laws. For every law that exist in the country there exists atleast five other ways to counter it and thus the criminals go unpunished.
Ultimate result the common man losing faith in it. Now if people will stop believing in the country's judicial system only GOD knows what will happen in that country. It's not long when some other country will again be ruling over us.

World's biggest democracy and such low standard. Nah... Time to overhaul the nations' rusted machinery and take our country back to where it belongs.
The elitist among the elites.

youre right.
we as indians have given up on india. The common man has retreated because thanks to nehruvian socialistic ideals the nations edge over rest of asia was lost. One who likes to read about these things knows that we had higher per capita income than south korea, and now its 13 times less than theirs. We donot respect our armed forces......by we I mean the government......the people always knew what needed to be done......but who amongst us will be the new subhas?
political leaders use communalism cause nobody anymore believes they can unite indians on the basis of love for india.
This is not true.....our love for india is deep rooted in us all....but we deserve this mess of politicians......hey we allowed them to rape us......time and again.
As a nation we agreed to be carved up and look....we still pay the price for this.
We started our independence the wrong way.
We agreed to be broken up!
The cycle was started in the wrong direction.
%) years down the line we are reaping its reward.
more and more india gets fractured along these lines.
God forbid in another 50 years we will be back to the days of city states.
IT seems we indians are not strong enough to hold on to our INDIA.
ALLWAYS A FOREIGN STONG TRIBE OR RACE FROM SOME DISTANT HARSH NORTHERN PART OF THE WORLD HAS UNITED US.
1)first the aryans.....they came down from russia to central europe and defeated OUR KING RAVANA.
And today we celebrate the foreigner as our champion.
this has not changed much
2)then the mughals.....descendants of the fierce MONGOLS
3)then the british.
4)but the 4th will be from within....understand this........"THINGS ARER NOW IN MOTION THAT CANNOT BE UNDONE".
We as a nation have to grow up.
If you need courage then look no farther than the indomitable spirit of the poeple.....nowhere is it more evident than in our vibrant private sector.
INDIA has allways been DEMOCRACY.
our achievements throughout history have been like this.
we never did any collectively gargantuan thng like the chinese.....but it was their harsh environment that forced them to think along that line......after all the environment has a huge effect on the thoughts of the people....a fine example would be the "DIVIDE AND RULE" of the british!

WE INDIANS have to unite as a whole.
OTHERWISE IN THE NEXT 50 YEARS WE WILL SEE INTERNATIONAL BOUNDARIES WHERE STATE BOUNDARIES LIE TODAY.

THINK ITS IMPOSSIBLE?
LAUGH U AT THIS THOUGHT!!

WELL THEN!
WHAT WAS PARTITION THEN?
IT IS SOOOO VERY POSSIBLE

THAT IS WHY WE INDIANS SHOULD UNITE AS A NATION FIRST.

Couldn't agree with you more but not all leaders can be classified as such. But due to petty politics of few, every one suffers. So it's time as i say, for technocracy rather than bureaucracy.

Thanks for your comment. Not many people have time to think over the issues or they don't want to. That's another problem that has been troubling our nation for quite some-time now.
